Why choose Al-Ashraf Academy? Because learning the Quran is the foundation of a Muslim’s life, and we help you learn it correctly, with understanding, from home. Discover why Quran and Deen education matters, the purpose of each of our courses, and why families trust us.
Our purpose
When families ask us why choose Al-Ashraf Academy, our answer starts with the Quran itself. The Quran is the word of Allah and the foundation of a Muslim's life. Learning to read it correctly, understand it and live by it brings guidance to our hearts, our homes and our society. That is the purpose behind every class at Al-Ashraf Academy.
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:2). The Quran shows us how to worship, how to live and how to treat others.
The Prophet (PBUH) said that whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah receives a good deed, and each good deed is multiplied ten times (Jami at-Tirmidhi 2910).
"The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027). Learning the Quran is an honour for the student and for the whole family.
"Recite the Quran, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it." (Sahih Muslim 804).
"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." (Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:28). Regular recitation brings calm, patience and contentment into daily life.
"Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim." (Sunan Ibn Majah 224). Learning our Deen is not only for scholars; it is for every one of us.

A teacher listens to your recitation and corrects mistakes in pronunciation and Tajweed that are hard to notice on your own. This is how the Quran has been taught since the time of the Prophet (PBUH).
If you cannot read the Quran fluently yet, start with the Qaida & Nazra Course. If you can read, the Tajweed Course is the next step. Hifz, Naat and Tafseer courses build on these foundations.
